Fasting Month- tips

Tomorrow (11 August 2010) is the Fasting month starts for Muslims all around the world (focus Malaysia). For sure, every time during fasting, most giving excuse "is it better for me to sleep", just to escape from maximize their activities. Actually, during this fasting month, it is the best time to reduce your weight because it is the fastest and effective.

Fasting month is a great chance for those who wanted to reduce weight. During this time, for non-Muslims also recommends experiencing this. Well, who do not want to be slim again, right?

exercise in fasting month still need to be continued to increase rate metabolism, besides retaining agility level so that not decrease and facilitate one undergo physical training continuously. This is because calorie still needs to be burnt despite in fasting month. So what are the suitable activities?


"> walks or cycling in the morning and evening
> car washing
> house cleaning, doing house chores
> gardening



it would better if;
> play sports
> jogging
> gardening (heavy one)"







EXERCISE:
> recommended that: 3 times a week, 30 minutes per-session.
> within 30 minutes, an individual can do 3 types of exercise in stages like warming up, cardiovascular exercise (jogging, cycling)
> often do these will reduce the fats and shaping the muscle. We can exercise 30 minutes or 1 hour before the break-fast (not breakfast, means in the evening, the dinner) or after the dinner soon after the digestion process.
> try to avoid having heavy dinner like rice. Instead, take small amount of food like date-fruits and a glass of mineral water.
> also encouraged that stop exercise 15-20 minutes before dinner to rest.
> indoor or outdoor exercise get both benefits to health.
> however, during fasting month it is encourage to exercise indoor due to the hot weather.





  • best and most suitable temperature to exercise is between 20-24 degree Celsius.
  • in the morning and evening is the best time to exercise.
  • wear cotton fabric attire is the best and avoid wear thick cloth.
  • Polyester and nylon fabric less suitable because it is insulate heat out. This may be causing them that fasting feel restless
  • heavy duty exercise (heavy lifting) should be avoided when fasting.
  • if walks for 10 minutes (like shop for foods) can burn up the calories effectively.


Recommend:
  1. aerobic for 30 minutes (burn- 400 calories)
  2. cycling/biking for 30 minutes (250-500 calories)
  3. jogging for 30 minutes (300 calories)
  4. swimming for 30 minutes (400 calories)

* we should be determined and motivate our-self to achieve what we wanted. Don't give up easily. If not use to exercise, starts with jogging or walk for 30 minutes in the beginning then keep up the progression afterward.
