Merdeka Day, zero spirit

Somehow, this week and or maybe last week I kinda lost. I don't know. I just keep it to myself. Many event that happen lately which makes me happy. It's my mom's birthday (28Aug), we celebrate at my auntie's house because we combine birthday of my cousins, and my brother, which basically who birthday on August. Although she plan it with her sister (my Auntie) and we just help ( we should plan for her actually but we didn't) like cooking, preparation and others. Long story short, she looks very happy and she looks like a kid and laugh all the time. I was so happy see she's happy. I guess what make she happy is the family is gathered. Although my youngest brother is not here (miss him, can't wait he going back for Hari Raya to cubit his pipi). I hope I got a job soon...heehehhe.. I mean going through the traumatic interview first soon after any vacancy is available =) ....hehe... It's Merdeka Day (Malaysian Independence day). No merdeka spirit at all. We usually spend our time during this day gathered around among family, barbecue and watching concert that aired live on TV. It is so frustrating that none this year, just boring drama about this event, not interested at all. Maybe because it is Fasting month for Muslim, they wanted to encourage them to pray at Mosque or Surau instead enjoy themselves. It's ok then, for their own good too. I'm getting bored each day, my Facebook profile always complaint about that too, poor friends that has to read. hehehe.. maybe next time I'll upload the movie links. Sorry for keep for so long. You guys sure bored because no movies to watch. I'm sorry, I'm very lazy these days.hehehe...I guess....hehehe... Okies. I should stop. No one interested to read anyway.hehehehe.. have fun people...enjoy your holiday... =)

AIDS Aware

AIDSAware is a project to raise awareness on AIDS, and hopefully to stop the further spread of HIV, by allowing each and every one of us not only to share and spread the message, but BE a message itself.

The aim of this project is to collect 13,000 messages, to remember the 13,000 people who have passed away from AIDS to date in Malaysia.

Miss Universe 2010 crowned: 22years-old Miss Mexico

The Miss Universe 2010 Pageant has been decided with a 22-year-old Mexican woman taking home the crown on Monday night.

Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete, of Guadalajara, beat out 88 other women from six continents at the 59th annual pageant held in Las Vegas, broadcast live on NBC.

Miss Jamaica Yendi Philipps took second place, Miss Australia Jenista Campbell took third, Miss Ukraine Anna Poslavska got fourth, and Miss Philippines Venus Raj—the projected favorite coming into the competition—took fifth place.

Navarrete was the top scoring competitor in the evening gown component of the competition, and was the second-highest scorer in the swimsuit portion.

Judges asked Navarrete about the effect that the Internet has on young people and she said it is an indispensable tool.



Miss USA Rima Faikh, the first Muslim-American person to win the Miss USA competition, did not make it to the final round.

She was eliminated from the Miss Universe 2010 pageant on Monday, missing out on the semifinal round.

Out of the 83 contestants from six continents, 15 proceeded into the semifinal round.
Miss Universe contestant Rima Faikh, the winner of the Miss USA contest, said she agrees with President Barack Obama on the issue of freedom of religion surrounding the proposed mosque near Ground Zero, but opposes construction of the project near the site.
Faikh, a 24-year-old Muslim-American of Lebanese origin, said that while she agrees with Obama’s ideological stance, she said it is not practical to place the mosque close to where the World Trade Center towers once stood.

"It shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center," Fakih told Time magazine. "We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion."

Faikh, who was the first Muslim to win the Miss USA contest, added that the builders of the proposed mosque, Cordoba Institute, should find another location.

The Cordoba Institute said that they wish to build the 13-story $100 million project, which includes a place of worship, a pool, a community center, and other amenities in Lower Manhattan to foster improved relations between the West and the Islamic world.



The list was further trimmed down to 10 after the swimsuit round, consisting of contestants from Albania, Australia, Guatemala, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and Ukraine.

The judges of the beauty pageant evaluate the contestants in swimsuits and evening gowns as well as by giving them interviews, prompting them to think on their feet and give adequate answers to move forward.

Man with boobs

While I was bored and in between TV commercial break, I get a chance to read something on the net. Then I get this, and you got to believe this:

Mr. Guo Qingpo, a 53-year-old from Dezhou, Shandong province in China, first began to grow man breasts, or "moobs," 10 years ago. At the beginning, Guo believed he was simply putting on weight as he got older; however, over the next few years, his breasts began to grow extremely quickly, while other parts of his body remained the same. Desperate, he visited numerous hospitals in major cites within China, but none of them could explain why he'd suddenly sprouted moobs.

Eventually, Jinan Chest Hospital invited more than 20 specialists from around the country to have a group consultation concerning Guo's rare condition. Experts believe that Guo suffers from lipodystrophy syndrome, a disturbance of fat metabolism that often involves the abnormal deposition and distribution of fat in the body. Gosh, it is not a transexual,etc kind of guy, or a guy purposely go into surgery to have boobs, it is some kind of disease or something. Scary huh?? I guess we need to check up our self, watch what we eat and be healthy. He is truly 1 in the million, I think.

Unbelievable and Impossible Photos by Li Wei

enjoys some of this amazing pictures taken by Li Wei who is a contemporary artist from Beijing China.

Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages and that he works with the help of props such as mirrors, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics. He then removes the wires and scaffolding with Photoshop to create these seemingly impossible photos.
