Being jobless is so bored. I just stay at home > sleep, eat, watching TV, blogging, facebook, etc. Luckily, my friend (aka neighbour aka cousin....) has lent me her book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid : a novel in cartoons. Actually I saw this in the bookstore many times and I never touch it since it is for kids. But then, since she lent it to me, I guess why not, I'm bored at home, atleast I have English book to read, it is not so hard to understand too, and also, they also produce a movie from this book.

then, I started to read. People always say that don't judge by its cover or what-so-ever, but to me, I judge the book from the first page. This book makes me wanted to read more as the 1st page is written like this;
First of all, let me get something straight: this is a JOURNAL, not a diary. I know what it says on the cover, but when Mom went out to buy this this I SPECIFICALLY told her to get on that didn't say "diary" on it.
Great. All I need is for some jerk to catch me carrying this book around and get the wrong idea. The other thing I want to clear up right away is that this was MOM's idea, not mine.
But if she thinks I', going to write down my "feeling" in here or whatever, she's crazy. So just don't expect me to be all "Dear Diary" this and "Dear Diary" that.
This book is so funny. The boy said this is journal and not diary but then looks like he write a diary. Also, (suppose) the diary is written by a kid and have many spelling error but it doesn't. Besides that, this book has many interesting and cute comic drawing cartoons. I just know the book has sequel. This one is produced in April 2007, and the 5th book title Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth (just like my blog title d^-^b) in November 2010 (soon). for more info: WimpyKid
